An Unforgettable, Inclusive Prom Night
Free for Guests with Special Needs
Every guest deserves a night to shine. A Night to Remember Prom is a free, unforgettable celebration designed specifically for individuals with special needs, their families, and their friends. It's an evening filled with music, dancing, food, laughter, and friendship — but more than that, it's a movement that celebrates love, dignity, and inclusion.
When guests arrive, they are greeted like stars — with red carpets, cheering volunteers, flashing cameras, and smiles that say you belong here. Because here, everyone does.
A community where everyone belongs.
At the heart of A Night to Remember is a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves to be celebrated.
We bring together volunteers, families, caregivers and community members to create a space where every guest — no matter their abilities — feels seen, valued, and loved.
This is not just a prom. It's a celebration of humanity, where limitations disappear and joy takes center stage.

Every life deserves to be celebrated.
For many families of individuals with disabilities, opportunities for social connection and celebration are rare. Traditional milestones — school dances, formals, community gatherings — often pass by without an invitation that truly includes them. The Kristin Tomasello Foundation created A Night to Remember Prom to change that, and we host it every single year because inclusion cannot be a one-time gesture — it has to be a promise our community keeps.
Each year, hundreds of guests walk a red carpet, are crowned, dance under the lights and are treated like the royalty they've always been. For many, it is the first time they have been the guest of honor anywhere. Parents tell us it's the first time they've seen their child truly free — laughing, dancing, shining without barriers — and that memory carries their family through the entire year until the next one.
We do this annually because the need doesn't pause. New guests turn the age to attend, new families find our community, and returning guests count down the days from the moment the last song ends. Making it a tradition means every individual with special needs in our region knows there is a night on the calendar built entirely for them — one they can look forward to, prepare for and remember forever.
For volunteers, sponsors and donors, the night is a reminder of what really matters: love, community and the power of inclusion. Every dress donated, every dinner served, every dance shared plants something bigger than one evening — it builds a culture where people with disabilities are seen, valued and celebrated year-round.
This event is more than just one night. It's a statement to the world — and a promise we renew every year — that every life deserves to be celebrated. Join us. Volunteer with us. Give what you can. The more of us who show up, the louder that promise becomes.
